Magento – Edit the Maintenance page
To edit the maintenance page in Magento, create a maintenance.flag in
root. You should now be able to see the page appear when loading the
website. Go to errors/default and change the page.phtml and 503.phtml to
your needs. I think I have used the page one to edit the header and so
